Tuareg is a nation whose homeland extends throughout the Sahara and whose history extends back thousands of years. After a difficult journey along the desert trail, we arrived at the city of "Agadaz", which is the capital of the Tuareg in "Al-Ayr" region, far north of Niger. We are greeted at the entrance to the city by the old mosque, which was built in 1515 and which was a symbol of Islamic architecture for many centuries.
